Outback Fine Art Photo Adventures is a premier photographic travel business. Based in Sydney, Australia, it has both a national and international reach and is well-established. 

The business was founded in 2016 by Douglas Kerr, a fine art photographer who was inspired by the rugged beauty of the Outback and identified the need to make it more accessible to fellow fine art photographers. Since then, over 2 000 photographers from many countries (e.g., USA, Canada, UK, China, Russia) have taken trips with us.

We offer a unique blend of fine art photography and adventure travel in some of Australia’s most beautiful Outback areas. We run multi-day trips to carefully selected Outback locations. Our itineraries are crafted to maximise your enjoyment. We take you to locations that offer spectacular photographic opportunities and provide you with an incredible adventure experience every step of the way.

Each trip is accompanied by a professional fine art photographer who will provide both group workshop instruction and personalised assistance, ensuring that you make the most of the photographic opportunities and capture amazing images. Our tour leaders are highly skilled with many years of experience guiding in the Outback and they are dedicated to ensuring your comfort, safety, and enjoyment. We are partnered with Indigenous Australian guides who will share their local knowledge and ancient wisdom with you, bringing the Outback alive and enriching your experience.

Groups are a maximum of eight, offering the opportunity to build special bonds with like-minded individuals, and are suitable for all photographers from novice to advanced. You will travel in spacious 4×4 vehicles specially customised to keep you comfortable, stay in campsites and eco-lodges close to nature yet cosseted in comfort, and enjoy an abundance of tasty meals and drinks.
